Market FAQ

The Catonsville Farmers Market is a “producer only” market.  This means that the products you are buying are grown, made or prepared by the vendor.  When you come to the market, you get more than fresh, local products.  You get to know the people behind the products.

Purchase Methods:
We gladly accept cash, credit/ debit cards, WIC and SNAP!

Come to the Market’s ATM booth to swipe your credit card. You will be given tokens (in $5 increments) that may be used at any of our vendors.
A few of our vendors also have the individual ability to accept Credit/Debit cards (through programs such as Square).

We also accept WIC/SNAP
SNAP: Come to the Market’s ATM booth to receive your tokens. The tokens may be used with any market vendor.
WIC/FMNP/FVC: Use your checks directly with our vendors, then bring the paper receipt to the ATM booth to receive Market Money.

Market Rules:
The market operates from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m every Wednesday through the Summer Season.  No bagging or selling of merchandise can occur before 9 a.m.  This gives all vendors an equal chance to set up their stands. (The Market operates every other Wednesday from December to April from `10:00 am to Noon.)

Dogs are welcome.  We only ask that you be prepared to clean up after your pet.
